Thank you so much for the wishlist book - you're right, it is appropriate for December. ;)
(This book is Christopher Moore's The Stupidest Angel, received for the 2008 Secret Santa Exchange. I received it in the mail before Christmas but saved it to open with my other Christmas gifts so I didn't know which book it was until December 25! I should also note that butterfly-noir sent a brand-new book, so I put the BCID number in myself.)
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
P.S. I don't know why, but I can't see the journal photo you put in.

Finally got around to reading this...and I'm not sure where I could wild-release a zombie Christmas book in February! Sometimes I forget just how over-the-top Christopher Moore can be. Then I read (or re-read) one of his books and I'm reminded all over again: what a nut. But then, I'm not allergic to nuts! ;)
Unlike another book I tried to read for Jare's 2010 Chills & Spills Read & Release Challenge, this one definitely has zombies in it - brain-sucking, falling apart; the works, just as advertised. Fun.
Also, I liked the bonus chapter; I think the story ended better that way. I've never been a fan of fruitcake; after reading about Mavis's recipes maybe it's just as well that I usually give away any fruitcakes I receive untasted. :p
