Our generation had Go Ask Alice, today's teens have Junk. And I think today's kids got a better deal - not only is it a much better book from a literary point of view, but it seems (from my totally safe and suburban viewpoint) to be a much more honest depiction of drugs, their benefits and dangers, why kids take them, and why they do and don't stop.

Picked up from FutureCat. Thanks :)
I was chuffed to find this book in a Lilliput Library on a hill overlooking our beautiful harbour and thoroughly enjoyed the read....though it opened my eyes and scared me too with how easy it is to reach the brink when really it's connection that is sought. Read with an open mind and an open heart. Amber, Otepoti, Aotearoa
