I haven't read this book in years. I bought it because a neighbor of mine gave me the book Jitterbug Perfume(another Tom Robbins) and I thought it was hysterical. Of course I gave Jitterbug away right after I read it, and I buy it everytime I find it in used book stores and end up giving those copies away too. Cowgirls didn't strike me the same as Jitterbug. I like Tom Robbins wacky storytelling, but I really didn't like it as well as the first Tom Robbins I read.
