I took it home from the meet-up yesterday. Now it has to wait on the MTB until I feel it is the right time for it.

It was not the book I would recommend to other people, but still it was nice to read. 500 pages in small printing is a lot to read... I had never read anything about Jamaican volunteers in the Second World War, so I got an interesting insight.

I had some troubles getting into the book, but it was absolutely worth it. I enjoyed Andrea Levy's writing after the first 50 pages a lot. And I never read about Jamaican RAF in the second world war, so I learned about a new piece of history for me.
