Picked up by mistake as I thought it was one of the 1001 books with a similar title but a different author.

Different cover.

7 out of 10

Okay I read this 2 days ago. At first I read about 150 pages and then gave up. Too slow for me. Writing was good but the pace of the story , so slow.
But later I was sick and the only book which was next to me was this one, and I was still curious so I gave it another try and finished it in one afternoon. Interesting. I am not a fan of romance anymore. Sometimes it is hard to figure out which is romance and which is Historical Fiction. this I felt was more a romancy book, but I am glad I read it. thanks.
Finished on August 3rd 7.5
