Journal Entry 4 by alkaline-kiwi from Auckland, Auckland Province New Zealand on Wednesday, April 22, 2009
Having enjoyed a couple of the author's other books I thought this one would be worth a read.
Journal Entry 5 by alkaline-kiwi from Auckland, Auckland Province New Zealand on Thursday, May 28, 2009
This book was read during my 40 Hour Read-A-Thon.
Having enjoyed some of the author's other books (See You Simon and Just Looking, Thanks) and wasn't disappointed by this one either.
I have a lot of love for good YA fiction and seem to particularly love NZ authors' take on this genre.
Without giving too much away it is a story about music, relationships, friends, family and a teenage pregnancy. Like other YA authors I enjoy David Hill makes his characters authentic in their teenage voice.
