I bought this in the hope that it might be a useful reference book for identifying butterflies. While it has lots of very good illustrations, the one thing it lacks is an identification key. So I'll send it on the You're Such an Animal release challenge.

This is my sixth release for the You're Such an Animal release challenge.
I'll release this somewhere that should be good for butterflies, I thought. How about the wildflower meadow at Nature alive?
I left the book on a bench overlooking the meadow, but the meadow has just been mown: there's no sign of any butterflies, and the only wild flower I saw was a tiny clump of (I think) Birdsfoot Trefoil by the fence where the mower didn't quite reach.

It has not disappeared off the face of the planet! My little daughter insisted that we take the book home when we found it c.16:00 on 4th September on a bench at the nature resrve. Have dipped into it since then, particualry the biology section.
Nearly finished it and will pass it on soon. Won't keep it as we already have a little butterfly identifiction book.
