Garden Spells

Purchased last week from the Field Library Bookstore. This looks like a story I will love.
This was a very enjoyable and quick read - I'd best describe Sarah Addison Allen's writing style as "Alice Hoffman Lite" - it's filled with spells and magical realism, but has a storyline that is light from beginning to end.
I'm adding this to sweetsangria's I See a Tree Bookbox.
Someone recommended this recently, so I was pleased to find it in a bookbox travelling my way. I'm pulling it from the box and look forward to reading it.
Fluffy and light reading in a southern and slightly magical setting. I enjoyed the book and found the story reasonably compelling, but there's nothing to make it stand out from other, similar books. Similar in feel to Alice Hoffman.
