Journal Entry 1 by Martjxox from Perugia, Umbria Italy on Sunday, October 5, 2008
Meredith McKay has gone to a lot of trouble to create the picture-perfect life for herself-far away from her troublesome family, thank you. When her father+s car accident forces her back to her hometown, however, she soon discovers that there+s no running away from family issues-there+s only delaying the inevitable. Can anyone sort out a lifetime of drama in one hot summer? Throw in a hot guy from back in high school with an ax to grind, a best friend turned enemy turned soon-to-be-sister-in-law, and of course, the sometimes irritating, sometimes delightful members of her own family, and Meredith is on her way to figuring out that a trip through the past is the best way to move forward. With one revelation after another coming to light, Meredith must reexamine all the things she+s ever believed, including the truth about herself. Could it be that she isn+t the picture-perfect good girl she always thought she was?

The book is now ready to travel again and so... I have decided to do my first bookring with this book (thanks to Martjxox!!)

The usual rules apply.
1. Journal the book when you receive it
2. Try to read it and send it on within 1 month
3. PM the next reader - it is advisable to contact the next person on the list, before you actually finish the book, so there are no delays - and send it to him/her
4. make a release or journal entry on the book so we can all see its status
5. If you have any problems reading the book in time or getting hold of the next reader, please PM me
6. ... nothing else, enjoy the reading ;)

I've tried to respect everyone's shipping wishes and I hope everyone's satisfied with the list.

Journal Entry 6 by sarkiegirl from La Quinta, California USA on Sunday, April 5, 2009
I got this in the mail the other day, but I'm right in the middle of moving, so I didn't get to pick it up till yesterday. Thanks kittychia for adding me to your ring! I'd like to know where the original bookcrosser got those cute little paper inserts for bookrings!

Journal Entry 7 by sarkiegirl from La Quinta, California USA on Wednesday, April 15, 2009
Just to warn you, I read Megan Crane's first book "English as a Second Language" and I hated it. But, I do give second chances. (and sometimes third)I will say that this book was not as bad as the first one. Of course, I didn't really like the main character, but that doesn't always ruin the book.
I liked the coming back home and finding yourself stuff, but the more I got to the end, I just wanted to finish it already.

**Note: The book got a little water damaged when I left it open laying on top of a damp sports bra. I asked Martjxox if she would like me to replace it, and she kindly said no. So, it's on to the next bookcrosser!

I received it today but will have to hide it somewhere in my bookshelf until next week as I'm supposed to do lots of other things at the moment...

While the plot sounded very promising and exactly up my street ;), I couldn't get into this book at all...
As the ring/ray initiator didn't want it back I'll take it along to the next meet-up.
