Didn't care much for this. I found the subject matter rather creepy. But as it's my first GGM I will probably have another go with another of his books. Meanwhile, this one's off in a bookbox with a Latin American theme.

I agree, it is a bit creepy. The protagonist is self-indulgent and does not seem to admit to himself that the women are indeed prostitutes, or better, that he is a John. Not one of his better books.
