Beautiful and a pleasure to read. A bit strange, but this is what makes it special, I guess. Touching story and a really gripping read.

Definetly reccommended!

Thanks adifos. This is quite different for me because I haven't read any Japanese authors before.

Synopsis
When he hears her favourite Beatles song, Toru Watanabe recalls his first love Naoko, the girlfriend of his best friend Kizuki. Immediately he is transported back almost twenty years to his student days in Tokyo, adrift in a world of uneasy friendships, casual sex, passion, loss and desire - to a time when an impetuous young woman called Midori marches into his life and he has to choose between the future and the past.

I wasn't sure if I'd like it but I did & would recommend it. A moving story. The characters were all interesting, I think Storm Trooper was great & wondered where he went.
Thanks adifos.
This is going to someone who has it on their wishlist.

I really enjoyed reading this book, as I have enjoyed all other Murakami's books so far. Though this one maybe has a more depressing mood.

Thank you so much for sharing it with me ReetPetite. I'll make it traval soon.
