I'm a big Roald Dahl fan and I think this book is great fun. *Some* people must agree with me, because I know it's been made into at least one movie...but it's also been banned/challenged multiple times. See some reasons why this book was banned here and here.
As for me, I'm going to re-read this book before I let it go - possibly in a whole BOX of banned and challenged books. :p

On bookshelves to right of service counter. Tonight I was at Fireroast with a group of friends, doing data entry from our precinct caucuses last night. With eight people working, it goes very quickly, and the Fireroast, thought its bookshelves are smaller than some other cafes and coffee shops, really has just about the best food of any place in my neighborhood, so it's a pleasure to have an excuse to go there (and release a book or two). I brought home some very superior tamales to share with DrSlump, and thought of you in Hawaii, Hyphen8, as I climbed over the snowbanks.
