The Light of Day

I was disappointed in this book. It has won a Booker prize, and others think it is wonderful, but it's not my idea of great writing. After reaching the end, I still don't know why George loves Sarah, not why Sarah murdered her husband.

Sorry it has taken me a long time to read this book as it didn't captivate me. I was disapointed with it as it didn't reach any conclusions! It doesn't make me want to go and read any of his other books! Not sure why it got a booker prize.
