I have read four of Nick Hornby's books prior to this one and have another TBR. Some I have liked more than others, my favourite being High Fidelity.
A Long Way Down is just as good as High Fidelity. I bought this copy off TradeMe along with About a Boy a couple of years ago but as so often happens with books I buy, I put it on Volcano TBR (every so often it erupts, sending books all over the place!) and was left for a while, waiting to be read (so many books, so little time!)
I enjoy Nick Hornby's style of writing. A lot of emotion and thought in a fairly straightforward way. The novel is made up of 3 'parts' with each part made of of chapters equally sharing each of the four main characters points of view.
