Solomon’s Song follows two quarrelling families, both from branches of the Solomon family, through three generations of bitter hatred and fighting. The story is set in a young Australia and as we watch these two families gain in wealth and influence we also watch the development of a continent. Bryce Courtenay masterfully balances the story of this furious feud against the backdrop of his native Australia.

I thought this one drug out a little bit. I found myself not lisening to some parts but then found other parts completely intriguing. Not a bad listen overall, just long.
