From the book jacket..."As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob--knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?"

The story continues from where it left off in New Moon. As with the two previous books, there is enough romance and adventure to keep the story moving. A light read.

Arrived in the mail today. I have heard this is the best book of the series. I cannot wait to start it!

Journal Entry 4 by Aberpeter from Renton, Washington USA on Friday, November 21, 2008
Reflecting back on the other book in the series so far, the first book where we get to know Edward and how perfect Edward is and how beautiful Edward is and how Bella is so very obsessed with Edward. Book two was all about Jacob and what a great friend he is and the werewolf legend becomes real. This book is the best of the first three books in the series. Although, I do have lots of complaints about the series so far. I have to keep reminding myself this is a YA series. The author's style of writing is not that great. In creating her love triangle between Edward, Bella, and Jacob, she is ruining some of their character. I am beginning to hate Bella more and more. She is becoming a tease and cannot make a decision and stick with it. Edward, with as much as I love his character, does not take a stand and fight for Bella. He forgives her for everything and will just wait for her when she is ready (what?!). Jacob is the most human of the three. He actually has real emotions and will stand up for what he wants and believes.

I am interested to see what happens in the third novel. I'm pretty sure the Volturi return and there must be a wedding, too...

I am waiting for New Moon to move on before I pop this one in the mail.

It's here! I'm looking forward to it!

1/13/09 ETA: I'm sorry I'm taking so long with this book. I haven't had much reading time lately. I am over half-way through the book so I hope to have it moving soon. Again, sorry for the delay!

I finally finished this book today. So sorry to take so long. I enjoyed the book but the first half was a little more boring than the second half. I can't wait to see how things end.

The book is packaged and ready to go to ksreader. It will go in the mail tomorrow.

Book was received Friday evening- and I finished reading it this afternoon! I liked this installment much better than the last. This might be the longest book yet, but the story flowed well. I loved how she balanced the Bella-Edward-Jacob relationship and look forward to the next in the series.

This was another great installment in the series. I liked it much more than "New Moon"! I was actually disappointed when it came to an end.

I mailed this off to Queniene, with pleeenty of postage. (This books's a big one!) Now, I realized that Queniene hasn't journalled book #2, like I thought she had. I'm hoping nothing is wrong and am fearing the wrath of dabercro should there be a lost book! ;-) PMd Queniene to check in and will definitely make it right if that is the case.

-No response from Queniene. I PMd her again 2/13/09.

-After many attempts to contact Queniene with no success, this book has been replaced. I have purchased another copy to make sure the participants can continue the spiral. Thanks for your patience!
