Frances Mayes has a very beautiful and poetic prose when she writes about her travel: her description of food makes my mouth waters, and her pen gives even a mundant tourist trap a romantic veil. I hope one day I will get to travel around with my husband like she did!

Loved it as always with Mayes books. Thanks! I am so sorry I really thought I had journaled this when I got it out of the mail. Will take it to a book club meeting and offer it to our group as a read for us. If some one wants it to read I will journal it out.
