A Sookie Stackhouse vampire mystery.

I have not read any of this series before.

Wow, Sookie really gets battered and bruised in this series, and especially so in this book.
Werewolves, telepaths, shapeshifters, vamps - they're all in here. I'll be interested to see how the writers of True Blood adapt this third book for the third series of the show.
I like the dynamics between Eric and Sookie in the books, which doesn't come across in the series.
Oh, and Bubba is back in this book.
Looking forward to reading the next book in the series...

Picked up at the most recent Perth BC Meetup - I've read the first and enjoyed it. Might look out for number 2 before I read this one :-)

So it looks like this books has been sitting on my shelf for 3 years ( and apparently it was over 3 years ago that I read the first one!), but I recently acquired books 4 and 5 through Bookcrossing, and they provided some satisfying light reading over the weekend (indeed I read #2 and #3 in one day!). Fun fairy floss reading :)
