What a fantastic book to read as I was on my way to visit Yosemite National Park. Made me look at Mariposa Grove in a whole new way! There is so much of this earth that we still know so little about and thanks to explorers like the ones in this book, we are finding out more and more. If only we can take care of the earth in such a way as to preserve all it has to offer. I left this book with a few friends who are working/volunteering in the park helping to preserve meadow plant life. Who knows where this book will end up!
