Caught this in Carlisa's CD Audio book box. These books seem so popular, and I was curious. This was my first experience with Stephanie Plum, and it was cute. I don't usually read books like this--but it was amusing, the characters where funny, and the story was engaging. I really enjoyed it, and I can now understand why so many people follow these books.
I'm putting it back in the box so others can enjoy it. Thanks for including this in the box, ninkasi!

Thanks! Arrived today! Very excited to listen to this one.
Finished up this one today. Seemed to go so fast. I like that she is trying to change the scenes and characters, but I miss the bounty hunter aspect in this one. Thanks again for sharing this one!

Arrived home in my bookbox. I've read a couple of the Stephanie Plum books, and they're nice light, humerous reads. This one will go on Mt. TBR too!
I tend to skip around with the Stephanie Plum books.....I pick up one of the audios here & there when I'm in the mood for light reading. For the most part you can do that with these....read them in any particular order & not feel like you missed much with any of the previous ones. This one was just so-so....it didn't have the relationship tension between Stephanie & Morelli & Ranger that I like with this series, but that may well have been because this was the abridged version. However, at this point, I prefer Evanovich's books as abridgements, as the full books are just too much for me. Too silly, too frivolous. I like reader Lorelei King's voice as narrator/Stephanie, but her attempts at the other characters just annoys me.
Sending off in a box of books to help stock a UBCZ in Charleston, SC. Happy travels...!
Received this book today, along with several others, from the lovely indygo99 for our revamped book exchange/library/UBCZ here at The Bristol. Thank you so much! Releasing to the shelf shortly.
I tend to listen to Evanovich in the car. The plots don't matter so much, but I LOVE the voice actor, Lorelei King. She's marvelous.
