I look forward to reading this book as Mehmet Oz always seems to have sensible ideas when I see him speak on the Oprah Show! I have still not seen his new show though on television.

The cover of my book looks different then the one shown... Go figure!

9 out of 10

I just finished reading "Healing from the Heart" by Mehmet Oz this morning. I'm counting this book towards another one read for the 2012 Olympic Reading Challenge as Mehmet has dual citizenship in the USA and Turkey.... So, this one is for turkey.

I loved reading this book. Mehmet Oz writes about how various complementary modalities helps the body heal when used in conjunction with allopathic medicine. The mind-body connection is a critical factor in the healing process and Dr. Oz illustrates this time and again through patient stories, scientific study and personal experience. The patient is encourage to take an active role creating a healthy lifestyle.
