Bought at a thrift store bag sale.

I've started reading Murder at the Smithsonian, so when I had a chance to read this, I was excited. I love reading these books set just down the beltway from me! It's so neat reading something set somewhere I've been a bunch of times, and it was neat hearing all the references to local places.

The plot itself was interesting, too. The plan behind stealing the painting was simple but full of "unexpected" complications and twists. And just when I was starting to wonder about the "murder" part of it, up went the body count! Lots of neat characters, and some great twists and turns. Definitely an enjoyable read.
