Whoo-Hoo! Came in today's mail, thank you verymuch indeed.

From the outset, I thought this book was terrific. Okay, granted, I didn't like that our protagonist was stupid enough to be sleeping around with a married guy. That scenario is never going to win a rave review from me but at least this author did it on a level of realism I could relate to (not that I've dated a married guy! Haven't, and wouldn't!).. I just mean, it felt real.

Somehow, devon612 always manages to send me books that reflect my inner thoughts and things I need to talk about (and I wind up reading them at just the precise time I need to talk about them with someone else who understands).. how does she *do* that?

Clara rang true with me, as I know a woman much like her. Can be seen as both clingy, manipulative and somewhat (dare I say it?) crazy- though nice enough and well-intentioned on the entire brick path to Hell.

I stayed up the entire night reading this book while not feeling well, and it was great company. I'd have a better review were I not fuzzed up on sinus meds, I'm sure. But I give it a nine rating, so take it from that, won't you?
