I found the story to be quite real to life and displayed the judgments and criticizm of some and the love of others. I thought it would be difficult to follow because of the chapters going from one character to the other but it actually allowed for more definition and development.
Came in the mail today - thanks, joanmillet. I look forward to reading this.
This story was good, but not really to my tastes. The story centers around life in a small Colorado town and alternates between the story of a family breaking up (depressed mom leaves dad and 2 brothers) and a family in the making (a young pregnant girl and 2 older brothers who take her in). The writing is spare and stark, much like the landscape of this town. The story ends a little abruptly for my taste, although there are 2 novels to come in this series. Overall it was good if you like the spare style.
For my secret Santa - feel free to read or release as you wish. Merry Christmas!
I got this book in a secret Santa package.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
The book was placed in the little free library at the restaurant.
This book came to my attention because I have an alert for books released in Marshall, MI. I went "hunting" for it, because I very rarely find any books released by Bcers in my area.
The 2nd reason was because I, a girl from Canada and a girl from Germany are
playing the Monopoly game and one of the things we needed was a "Hunted" book.
