Well that was quick! Not much I hadn't come across before, but plenty of myth de-bunking and all told with Bryson's usual wit & style. Glad I've read it. Thank you suedo: hope the lurgy goes away soon.

I love Bryson and though I'm not a huge Shakespeare fan - did some at school but that's it - I'm interested in finding out more about his life, especially as I've read some interesting conspiracy theories about his identity.
