I am trying to clean up my bookshelf and get everything sorted and registered. This book is "to be read" and was either received through paperbackswap.com, given to me by a friend or family member, or purchased at the local bookstore.

Not my favorite of Tepper's work, but still a great book. As usual, it took me 20 pages or so to really get into the story, but once hooked I couldn't wait to read more.

Book Description:
Atop a twisting, canyon-climbing road, a witch lurks in a fortress built strong to keep out dragons and ogres.
