UPDATE: I haven't read a Jonathan kellerman book for a long while so read this while I was in Portugal and really enjoyed it. It's a slow burner - took a long while to get going and was very descriptive, but not offputtingly so - the plot built up gradually and the outcome was quite shocking. I thought the ending was a bit disappointing though, very contrived. Overall a great book though.
