Synopsis
One of the most fascinating forms of art and expression is the love letter. Love letters have been a way for lovers to exchange their innermost feelings since the earliest forms of writing. The movie Sex and the City shows us the importance of historical love letters, as they use many of these love letters written by some of the great men of history including authors, poets, heads of state, composers and others. We present you a collection of some of the most important love letters ever written. The writers include Ludwig von Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, John Keats, Napoleon Bonaparte, Mark Twain, Winston Churchill, Robert Browning and Victor Hugo. I've been so incredibly busy I did't even have time to journal this any earlier. This arrived a while ago and I'm almost through with the book. I'm not a big fan of SATC but books like this are always welcome. What a way of getting a lady's spirits high!

In my opinion, Keats's letters are among the most touching & beautiful. I would sooner die for want of you than - has to be the most powerful endings I've ever come across.

I wouldn't mind receiving one myself! I also loved the contrast between the two letters by Napoleon; the first praises Josephine but in the second letter his love is over and Napoleon gets all brutal on the perverse, stupid wretch!

The little love story written by the author of Alice in Wonderland is brilliant, although to me it's slightly overshadowed by the claims of Lewis's taste for little girls instead of grown-up women. Still, he was a wise man saying that a person often talks too much when he thinks he knows a great deal.

The book contains a few errors, such as the misspelled name 'Peirre Curie'.

In the end, I'm glad for Carrie for all the letters she eventually got rom Big. Go, romance! <3

I'm sending this to Liana on September 1. Enjoy the love!

EDIT: The book seems to have disappeared mysteriously after I dropped it in the mailbox. I'm so sorry, I seriously don't know what happened!
