Blurb from the back cover says:
"Veronika has everything she could wish for - young and pretty, with plenty of attractive boyfriends, a steady job, a loving family. Yet Veronika is not happy and one winter's morning she takes an overdose of sleeping pills, only to wake up some time later in the local hosiptal. There she is told that although she is alive, her heart is irreparably damaged and she has only a few days to live...
This story follows her through these intense days as she starts to question all her ideas about life. Soon she comes to realise that every second of existence is a choice we all make between living and dying. This is a moving and uplifting song to life, one that reminds us that every moment in our lives is special and precious."
A deeply touching story that deserves to travel.

Many thanks for sending it to a random - I will make sure it gets sent on or released once I have read it!

I found this an odd book, in that I was just getting into the characters and wondering what would happen, when the book ends.
I suspect it's one of those books that is better on a second read.
Interesting twist at the end though.

I got this book from chamonix44 because I really wanted to read it. It won't take me long to read it, and then I'll send it back to chamonix44, because she hasn't read it yet!
This is a great book. I have given it a score of 9 out of 10. It makes me evaluate all the things in my life, and realise that life is worth living! I am glad that I read this. I shall be sending it back to chamonix44 so that she can read it too.
What a strange story! There were a few extracts that moved me, like when Veronika realised that there were other Veronika's inside her, and not just the Veronika she despised. God help any poor soul that ends up in a mental hospital like the one she was in! Strange ending to this story! I'm glad that I read it, but I would not want to read it again. This book is now available.
