First book I have read by this author and it will probably be the last. Although the synopsis sounded good I thought the narrative poor literature and the people one dimensional. I like to be able to get inside the characters' heads, or at least the main protagonist even, and feel as if you are living the story but I never got the feel for anyone in this book, except on occasion the 14 year old kidnapped child.
