Journal Entry 1 by ReadnShare from Simi Valley, California USA on Wednesday, April 09, 2003
I've heard a lot about this author and was planning to read this book but it's not looking like it's going to happen anytime soon. With that in mind and the fact that it's already been sitting around on my shelf for a long time, I'm registering it and preparing it for release now. Hopefully someone will find it, enjoy it and journal it.

Got at the May meetup thanks to the Simi Valley Bookcrossers. I have heard that Bryson's books are hilarious - and I like British culture - looks to be a fun read. Thanks! As of June 18, 2003 - will be reading and then sending to Sissyrun.

Curiosity Killed The Cat - and cut also my finger...Trying to open quickly the envelope I used a knife and cut my finger...nothing serious but it delayed the opening-operation. That's sort of Bookcrossing accident, I guess...:-D Many many thanks to Sissyrun!!! I think I will make a bookring with this book and the ring will follow this one... Ciao e grazie mille!

Journal Entry 9 by PenelopePitstop from Melzo, Lombardia Italy on Monday, December 15, 2003
It was really interesting and funny to read this book. On one hand I had the opportunity to make a list of places I would like to see the next time I go to England on the other hand it was funny to read about places I visited years and years ago and to read how the way you see things changes a lot depending on your origin and the historical and cultural conditioning (and burden) you have... I'm going to make a bookring with this book... 1. Solimano (Firenze) 2. Nuela (Milano) 3. Agnul (Milano) 4. Lavale (Milano) 5. Vesna (Torino) 6. Blacklilith(Città di Castello) 7. La Giostra (Genova) 8. Torksoul (Paris France 9. Toadee (UK) 10 Fire-Dragon UK

Sometimes it is very hilarious. Sometimes (often) it is "very" true... Quite funny at first, but after a while a bit repetitive...

A funny book. I don't think I will be able to sleep again at night thinking of English authorities and underground garages :-)

I'm wondering about English authorities and underground garages, too.... A funny book, but my English sometimes wasn't enough to appreciate it. I'm sending it to Vesna, since LaGiostra is now too busy for taking part in the ring. Please, contact her later! Caio Vale
