Another book I got via an Ebay auction by buying several bulk lots of books back in March 2003.

TBR (to be read) then reserved for moonglow18 from trade.

The second Dark Tower book was an interesting departure overall while still staying true to the story of the Gunslinger. Rather than bring up plot points that could spoil the reading for others in the bookring, I'll just say that the locales are what struck me most (the world of the Gunslinger) while Stephen King yet again does a nice job of bringing various plot threads together for a good story.

This book does contain foul language.

I'll be shipping this along soon to keep the Dark Tower bookring going.

Wow - I'm so glad that I joined this ring, because I don't know that I would have read book two after finishing (and liking, but not loving) book one...I loved THE DRAWING OF THE THREE - great characters, tons of action. I don't want to give anything away, but I was fairly impressed with the major event that occurs at the beginning of the book (think Roland) - and so matter-of-factly, too. Eddie and Odetta/Detta/Susannah are fascinating, and I can't wait to see where we go next. Thanks so much for sharing this.

I received this book today and just in time. I am down to one more half finished book and need another to start. I can hardly wait to see what happens next.

I just finished this book, sorry that it took me so long. April was a crazy month for me, as was May. But little by little I got the book read and found it awesome, however, I am not sure if I can handle the Dark Tower to never be discovered. It has to finish with Roland finding the Tower, but I hope he keeps his friends in the process of it.

I also found this book easier to read than the first one, it was not so science fiction like the other. I can't wait to read book three.

Now I will send it off to the next in line.
