"Daddy Long-Legs is a 1912 novel by an American writer Jean Webster. It follows the protagonist, a young girl named Jerusha "Judy" Abbott, through her college years. She writes the letters to her benefactor, a rich man whom she has never seen."

So delightful book! I've read this in Finnish several times when I was around 10 yrs old, and I loved it. When I found this in English from the used-books-store, I had to buy it. Today I read it and still loved it - it is really amazing that it was written nearly 100 years ago!
