*Blog a Penguin Classic! - Free book for Review*

Thanks, Penguin!

Not sure how I feel about this cos I last read plays at school, and I'm a bit concerned how I will stay connected with the story (because in plays so much of it comes from the actors acting). May have to watch a performance to get in the mood.. (profoundly depressed if I remember Ibsen) :-)

I went to the Loughborough meetup and picked up three books, all of which had been brought there by Bookcrossers from Birmingham. Well, I suppose they've had a nice day out (the books as well as the Bookcrossers).

I think I'm very unlikely to read this (I picked it up so that the meetup bookshelves wouldn't be overloaded) so I'll find somewhere appropriate to release it at some point.

I saw the National Theatre Live screening of Hedda Gabler at the cinema last week and decided to read the play in this book for comparison. The National Theatre production had changed surprisingly little of the original play despite transferring the setting to modern times. I liked it and have found myself thinking about it a lot since. I agree with foxed above about reading plays, though: I don't think I would have enjoyed reading it as much if I hadn't recently seen it brought to life.
