To really appreciate this book, you probably will have to be part of the babyboom generation, be male and Italian. I only satisfy 1 of these criteria, so was slightly underwhelmed. The basic story is quite good, a man who looses his memory and is trying to reconstruct it, but there are too many (pop-)culture references without any meaning to me whatsoever for me to enjoy this book. I'll send this book to livrecache as my contribution for July for the Southern Cross book-exchange. Hope you will enjoy this!

Thanks, dophin-au, I squeak into the babyboom generation, but I'm neither male nor Italian. However I have read works by this author that I've enjoyed, so I shall be interested to read it. Thanks very much!
