I have read a few Nicholas Sparks books and while I can't call him my favorite writer, his books never fail to move me, with richly told, heart stirring tales about love and loss.
Denise Holden is a single mother who has moved to the small town of Edenton, North Carolina, to build a new life. On a stormy night, her car skids off the road, and when she regains conscious, she realizes that her four-year-old son is gone.
The search for Kyle brought the two together with Taylor McAden, a volunteer fireman who is always the first to plunge into danger. But there is one risk he can't seem to take: falling in love.

I found this book on Panera a resterant near the falls shopping center in Miami Fla. I sat down at a table near the books, my eye caught the words Nicholas Sparks, he is my favorite. I have read alot of his books but not this one. So I was thrilled when I saw that I could take it. So far its a great book and getting better page by page.
