Book 1 of the seven sisters series.

Book Description:
Sarah's come home. Ever since Damon Wilder sought refuge in Sea Haven, he's heard the same breathless rumor pass the lips of nearly every local in the sleepy coastal town. Even the wind seems to whisper her name--a reverie so powerfully suggestive that it carries the curious Damon to Sarah's clifftop home, and seeks to shelter him there.
But Damon has not arrived alone. Two men have tracked him to Sea Haven, and into the shadows of Drake House, where Sarah hides her own secrets. And danger--as well as a desire more urgent than either has ever known--is just a whisper away...

This one is going to be part of the seven sisters book spiral.

YooHoo - Received this today. Looking forward to this series - this is a thin one - I will finish in one day. But, I have one bookring in front of this - no worries - I'm a fast reader. ;-)

Journal Entry 5 by BooksnBeer from Pasadena, Florida USA on Tuesday, August 19, 2008
I actually finished this on Aug 5th and I forgot to journal it. Good - but, really too short. I'm not really fond of short stories for this very reason.

But, I did find the characters starting to grab me. I definitely look forward to the next few in the series.

I have been trying to contact Rrrcaron and not having any luck.

Arrived this morning safely in the Alps! Thanks so much for sending and for making this available. I'm curious to read a Feehan that is not about Carpathians...

This book was a bit thin... in every sense of the term. I look forward to reading the sequels as I think this one needs a bit more flesh. It was a very quick read; now I'll pm the next and send it on. I hope the next one isn't too far behind, I wouldn't have minded reading them back to back (at least the first two or three?)
At anyrate thanks so much for making this available.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

This is now on its way to Sweden, enjoy! One good thing about it being such a short book - I could send it as a letter, I think the least expensive ring I've ever posted!
Again, thanks for starting this spiral and making your books available, and thanks for sending it on!

What wonderful letter there was in the mail today waiting for me, a letter that actually was a book. It looks like a quick read. I think I will look around to see how far behind the next book is - just out of curiousity. I am looking forward to reading it.

I am sorry it took me over a month to read this book. It was really fast to read once I had the time to read it. I enjoyed it very much and look forward to finding out what will happen to the rest of the sisters. I just hope that every book will let us stay with the characters we already know, cause that is not always the case with sequels, sometimes the former main characters are just bi-figures.

I though I had already asked for the next address in line, but it turnes out I hadn't. So I am now waiting for the address of Kalise and as soon as I have it the book is on its way.

Thank you flossie771 for taking the risk of sending your books into the world. I hope they all make it back home safe.

***some spoiler alert!**

Well. I had the feeling the book ended before it's even properly begun. So I totally agree with my predecessors here that the storyline is way too thin, there's not enough backstory and the whole thing seems a bit rushed. It left many questions open, and I hope some are to be answered in the sequels. I did not think there was enough romantic suspense between Sarah and Damon, and I had the feeling there's no real development in their relationship. They just have THE perfect relationship from the moment they meet - 'cause the prohecy says he's The One - how or why no one knows, or maybe I just missed it - and that's basically it. Left me a bit with a mellow "doh" kind of feeling. But there's a couple in there that interested me waaaay more than Sarah and Damon, and that's Hannah and Jonas! I smell romance with a capital R, there! I do hope one of the following books deals with their story!!! But, the book's not all bad: I did enjoy the supernatural elements and reading about the sisters interact is just great fun. Can't wait to read Hannah's and Elle's stories (7 daughters? Help!).

Will send the book on to Wandering-b as soon as I receive her address.

A fun read, but way too short - details, I need more details!! That being said I still enjoyed the book and will probably look for the sequals. You KNOW who Hannah has to end up with!! Thanks flossie771 for sharing!
