7 out of 10

A sort of sequel to Kommandant's Girl - but with only slight references to the main character.

Quite a good read though I felt there were are few ananchronisms in this book too. e.g. it was very unlikely in postwar Britian (early 50s) that they used disposable cups even at railway stations.

NOTE: This book has a really unexpected ending!

AVL as a pair with Kommandant's Girl.

This is back with me now. A bit sad my friend didn't journal it though.
