It is described as an 'extraordinary love story'. I think it was more a psychological thriller with the underlying theme being that of love. But it is an extraordinarily powerful story, although it made for difficult reading. Certainly a lot to make you uncomfortable on many levels. Loving in the face of misunderstanding and hate, medical practitioners ethics including animal experiments and using their patients in their observations just to name a few.

It was a good read, i.e. difficult to put down, but somehow I would find it difficult to recommend as a 'must read'.

Been meaning to release this book for some time. It is adult fiction, so I needed to place it for adults to find.
