*The Witch of Portobello

A novel about a woman named Athena, who explores issues of identity, feminism, and spirituality. I enjoyed reading it, and it was well-written, but I don't think I really liked it, ultimately. It seemed too, I don't know, too stereotypical about what a woman's identity is (even though it attempts to be the exact opposite). But it was worth reading; it was a good story.
