ISBN 0-88894-215-X. Originally published by Douglas & McIntyre, Vancouver, B.C. and now back in print from Raincoast Books. Book review: Fear of Frying.

Delightful cookbook of simple, flexible recipes--and "how to do it" for each recipe is illustrated on the facing page by the author's cartoons. James Barber is famous in Canada for his easy, inventive style of cooking. This book has recipes for mushrooms, "hurry curry," salads, salad dressings, and a luxurious dessert based on avocados. Enjoy!

In this 1978 version, the book has coloured pages in orange, mustard, and blue sections. No index. This is the hardcover edition, and it's autographed. It's part of my permanent collection.
