This is one of the best and most intense books I have ever read.
It kind of spoiled me for horror films and novels, though. ;)

I've been dying to read this book ever since I saw the movie, which I absolutely loved! (What's not to love about Christian Bale? Sigh!)
Hopefully it doesn't ruin for me the horror books and movies that I enjoy so much!

I just finished this and... WOW! What a great book! Definitely not for the squeamish, but luckily I'm not easily grossed out.
