I enjoyed this book, its one of those you just have to keep reading cuz you have to know wot happens.

Just about to start this now as it's our January Book Club read.

This is a lovely, thought provoking little story. I will now be passing it on to my Mum.

Mum has now finished this and given it back to me, so looking to pass it on again now.

I really enjoyed this book. I can see myself travelling the country when I hit 50! I think I might tell my husband first, though, rather than abandoning him! It was a little indulgent of the narrator, and of course not something that everyone can do - lots of funds needed!!! While I didn't share all her life experiences - she is quite different from me and I don't think I will feel quite so strongly about turning 50 and being menopausal - a lot of her observations hit the spot: her thoughts about motherhood, different attitudes of men and women. Found myself agreeing quite often with her.
