Collection of some of Waller's essays for The Des Moines Register. Quite enjoyable in fact, much better than his best selling fiction IMHO.
I'm about halfway through the book and once I finish, I am passing this on to a friend from Iowa, I think she'll enjoy this collection too.

I found the book in the mens room at a great restraunt. To whomever strategically placed it, Kudos to you! The book is an easy read. Love the fact that you can read an essay put it down and dive into a completely different perspective the next time you pick it up. However I love the concept of this travelling book but i have got to figure a way to get this out of the Dallas area. I think you gave me an excuse to go on a trip!
