Journal Entry 1 by MooMoo1977 from Lismore, New South Wales Australia on Saturday, May 17, 2008
"Sandy Pressman has everything. Like a nice house. Labour-saving devices. The ability to buy any little luxury a woman needs. Oh, and she has Norman - husbandly, providing, secure. So why does Sandy want other men...? "When she cuts loose from her 'perfect marriage', the results are sexy, funny, moving and...unexpected. In 'WIFEY', Judy Blume has written a superbly observed, winning and witty book about modern female sexuality that provokes while it entertains."

Journal Entry 2 by MooMoo1977 from Lismore, New South Wales Australia on Sunday, August 24, 2008
A book on par with 'A Bride Stripped Bare' but mixed with the humour associated with those teenage books Judy Blume would write (who can forget the whole "I must, I must, I must increase my bust" from "Are You There God, It's Me, Margaret'?). 'Wifey' is about a woman named Sandy who is married with children and wondering what she's missing out on in life. Quite predictable, but you do have to wonder who the mysterious masked man is. Entertaining but at times (and in our day and age), you really feel like smacking her husband down (or maybe that's the feminist coming out of me??). Not sure what I will be doing with this, but its journey will continue on one way or another.

Thank you Bellamack, I received this in the post today. Owl007 (aka my husband) nagged me to select this from the Oz Virtual Book Box, and has been nagging me ever since to see if it had arrived. Argh! At least I can have a little peace now... until the next book takes his fancy! Thank you again.
