Three all-new paranormal stories of lust, laughter, and love from the New York Times bestselling author, including an original novella featuring Undead queen Betsy Taylor.
With her trademark "sassy dialogue, lusty lovemaking [and] irreverent humor"* New York Times bestselling author MaryJanice Davidson delighted fans with her wickedly sexy and wildly funny anthology, Dead and Loving It-stories in which the worlds of the Wyndham Werewolves and Undead Queens collided. Now she returns to that sensual and irresistible after-dark realm of werewolves, vampires, and mermaids in three more original novellas--including an all-new Betsy Taylor novella.

THIS IS A WONDERFUL SURPRISE!! HOLY SCHMOO!!!! Thank you Noumena!!!!!!!! (Is that enough exclamation marks? Can you fully visualize me sitting at my desk, all hopped up on dark chocolate M&Ms, grinning like an idiot?)

For a few short moments I was thinking that I'd be able to read this whole book tonight. I sat down at the computer, pulled up Bxing to make a journal entry and BAM! our internet went out. I yelled to my IT-Support-Husband-person and he looked into it, while I sat here and started reading this book. I broke out the aforementioned bag of M&Ms and had a very pleasant time. Granted, my true current read is a book that I owe someone, so I have no business starting this one. But it was RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE. I am so weak.

I'd best hit submit while my internet is still functioning. Because there is no possible way I could re-create this lunacy if I lose this journal entry.

Thank you Noumena! You are such a sweetheart. I'd throw some chocolate at you if I could. :D

I'll be the first to admit that I've given some of MJD's other books fairly harsh reviews. However, I LOVED this one! I love the vamps, the mermaids, & the werewolves, so this was obviously bound to happen. I was a little amazed that I managed to finish this in one night before bed, but then when I look at the size of the bottom margin on the vamp story, I am really not surprised after all. Still a very fun read though. Thanks so much for sharing with me Noumena! You are such a sweetheart.

This book will now be heading to Florida. It won't be heard from again until July, when WSS4, Ms. July Paranormal Devil, is able to rip open her packages. Enjoy! :)

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Without question my favorite Book Devil book. I so love Queen Betsy and the Wyndham wolves. I will be reading this immediately after I finish my owed TBRs (maybe even sooner).

Thank you so much terrafreaky. Hugs to Nou as well for sending it to you to begin with.

I was lucky enough to pick up 'Undead and Unworthy' via PBS recently and am in the mood for some mindless fun reading so have decided to read it. But I realized that there are a couple stories in this book that come between 'Undead and Uneasy' & 'Undead and Unworthy' that I have to read first. So it looks like I will be reading this book in section as I still need to read the 'Fred the Mermaid' books before reading that story in this anthology.

That being said, I picked this book up earlier this evening and started with the Wyndham Werewolf story -- Speed Dating, Werewolf Style. It was a typical MJD read. Quick, quirky and fun. I got a kick out of it and it was a fun half hour read!

I then attacked the Queen Betsy story -- Undead and Unwed: A Honeymoon Story. Of course Betsy and Sinclair could not possibly have a normal honeymoon. lol It was a fun quick read involving, sex (it is their honeymoon after all), vampires (of course Sinclair chooses a hotel manned by vampires for his honeymoon), shoe shopping (we are talking Betsy after all) and murder (Betsy has to have some problem to solve). Typical MJD and Queen Betsy -- nothing more, nothing less. Looking forward to 'Unworthy' now and I will come back after I have read the 'Fred' books to comment on the third novella in the book.

Finished the third story in the book last night. 'Survivors' was a fun read. I have just finished reading the two 'Fred the Mermaid' stories, so this was a fun continuation of that series. I am really looking forward to the next book in November.

All together a typical, fun MJD read. I really enjoy her anthologies and hope we get another one soon.
