I've rescued this from going to the dump. It doesn't look like my usual style, but I'll give it a try before letting it go.

If I hadn't been saving this from the trash, I never would have picked it up... but it wasn't too bad. I won't rush out to buy more Cussler or anything, but it was a fairly easy, enjoyable read that held my interest well. It is a little date in ways (ie: "The cost of oil could sore to eighty dollars a barrel" or some similarly worded sentence that made me laugh just a little), and I thought it was written in 2003 (when it's set), so I was a little thrown off when they started talking about the Twin Towers of New York City's WTC-- but then I saw that it was published in August of '01 and it made more sense. As a hydrophobe, some of the scenes in this book were perfectly nightmarish... but still interesting.

I don't know what I'll do with this just yet, but I hope its subsequent readers enjoy it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

This book was released at Henry's today at 8:31 PM-- the exact moment the sun set over Cambridge. This release was done for Sunday Sunset Mission 081008: Rear Window-- release a mystery/thriller book at a camera store, in celebration of Alfred Hitchcock's birthday (which is August 13). As this was my only mystery/thriller on my shelf, it was easy to choose one :)

If you've found this book, thanks for picking it up and checking out its journal! If you're new to bookcrossing, welcome! I hope you enjoy both the book and the bookcrossing experience! :)

Note: It's a little hard to see in the pic, but the book was left (in a slidelock bag to protect it from our current rainy weather) just to the left of the door, below/next to the Canon name ;)
