In this game, dying is easy; it's winning that will kill you.

While playing a total immersion virtual reality game of kings and intrigue, fourteen-year-old Giannine learns that demonstrators have damaged the equipment to which she is connected, and she must win the game quickly or be damaged herself.

I really enjoyed this book. A great little quick read fantasy!!

This was a very cute little book. The ending was a bit... unbelievable to me, though I can see why it would appeal to the intended audience, and it certainly didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story. I really liked the fantasy world that Giannine was immersed in... and the way that she managed to solve the problem of the game!
