Comments will follow, once I've read the book. Different cover art. Received from a fellow BookMoocher.
Synopsis from Amazon:
"In 1547, as the Scots prepare for war against England, a ship arrives from Campvere with an illicit cargo and Francis Crawford of Lymond, a dangerous nobleman, accused of treason and hunted by friend and foe alike, who leads a company of outlaws in his struggle to redeem his reputation."
Update August 2008:
It sounded really good and it took a long time to find a copy. But then I tossed it after a little over 100 pages. I found the old-fashioned and stilted way of its writing so distracting, that I could not get into it. A shame, because it felt like a good story.

I passed this on some time ago. I don't remember if it was bookmooched or if it was a RABCK.
Oops, it seems like I never journalled this! Which probably means it was a Mooched book.
This has been sitting unread on my shelves so I decided to give it a second chance. I will pass it on to staff in one of our local malls. It is unlikely that it will get journalled but very likely that it will get passed from hand to hand and well read, which is better than sitting on my shelves.
