Picked up from the local Salvation Army opshop.
An enjoyable, light-hearted sort of read about the Tovey family, including their two siamese cats and donkey.
An ideal book for animal lovers, not only does the book feature the Tovey's pets but there's also the great animals of the Canadian wilderness and troublesome local horses at the riding club... not to mention the bees.

Released for the Promote Animal Adoption release challenge. Started in 2007 this challenge has BookCrossers releasing books to raise awareness of the importance of animal adoption.
There are other ways to support the cause, donating or volunteering at shelters and organisations that care for animals also really helps and there is a lot of other things you can do as well.
